It might only be the first week of December but we’ve already got into the spirit here with presents, carols and even a visit from the main man himself all taking place this week.
First up was the collection of 68 Christmas boxes for local older people who may be spending the festive season alone. Our occupiers and local residents dropped off gifts as part of the annual shoebox appeal by Care & Repair Monmouthshire and Torfaen, who are based here.

Then it was the turn of Rougemont School’s junior choir to bring the Christmas cheer as they entertained with their favourite carols. This has become an annual highlight, organised by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board’s public health team, also based at the business park.

Finally, at Little Stars, our on-site nursery, all sixty children, aged between six months and four years, were surprised by a visit from Father Christmas.

“We had a gift for each of the children at Little Stars and asked Santa if he might be able to deliver them before his schedule got too hectic, and he was happy to oblige,” explained James Crawford, our chief executive.
Nursery owners Emma Matthews and Marie Ellis-Jones said: “Christmas is always a special time of year with our little ones getting excited as they look forward to the big day. Santa’s annual visit is a really special thing that the Mamhilad Park Estate team does for us and we love seeing the children’s faces light up.”
