Little Stars Shine Bright at Mamhilad 

Little Stars Nursery will be shining bright for another ten years as nursery owners Marie Ellis-Jones and Emma Matthews have renewed their lease at Mamhilad Park Estate. 

Established in January 2003 at Mamhilad Park Estate, Little Stars Nursery has 25 staff who care for 102 children aged from six weeks to five years old on a full and part-time basis. Parents who work onsite at Mamhilad Park Estate benefit from discounted rates and the nursery also offers the Childcare Offer for Wales and Early Education funding. 

With the prestigious Quality Counts NDNA Platinum Award, Little Stars Nursery has now been short-listed for the NDNA Nursery of the Year Award 2024. The nursery is also recognised by the Education Achievement Service (EAS) as the leading nursery facility in the area. 

Emma Matthews and Marie Ellis-Jones said: “The last 21 years have flown by. Mamhilad has always been a great location but the continued investment in the business park means that there is now a thriving community here with some great on-site facilities that make working here a real pleasure. We’ve got wonderful children, great parents and the best natural environment we could ever ask for. The children and staff love life with us at Mamhilad so it was a very quick and straight-forward decision to stay for another ten years.”
